At Unbridled Developments, we are dedicated to building affordable housing for hard-working families in the beautiful Okanagan.
Our mission is to create vibrant communities that cater to young families, ensuring more people can enjoy the beauty of this region and feel rooted in the place they call home.
Sheyne & Vanessa
Our husband-and-wife team was born from a shared vision to build something of our own and create a life rooted in family, craftsmanship, and community.
After moving from the Lower Mainland to the Okanagan to raise their two boys, Sheyne and Vanessa took the leap to turn their passion for building and design into a family-owned business.
Years of construction experience
Sheyne worked alongside his father before running the family rebar business full-time for 15 years. His love of craftsmanship—first expressed through custom furniture in his own workshop—grew into a vision for thoughtfully designed homes and projects built to stand the test of time.
He brings a strong eye for design, hands-on construction experience, and a commitment to doing things right. To Sheyne, quality lives in the details.
Calm, organized perspective
Vanessa brings a unique perspective through her career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. A fast-paced environment taught her to stay calm under pressure, manage competing priorities, and organize even the most challenging situations.
Those skills translate naturally into coordinating projects, managing details, and keeping every moving part on track from start to finish.
